In December 2005 workmates and motorsport competitors Dean and Danny teamed up to start a new Automotive Service & Repair business in Goolwa. The exceptional service fuelled rapid increase in client base prompting expansion of the workshop the next year and a move to larger premises two years later. The new site accommodates seven hoists, one of only few Platetronic Ultima Safe-T-Stop brake, steering and suspension test machines on the South Coast and a dedicated Truck & Heavy Plant Service Bay, serviced by four technicians, a full time auto electrician, a service advisor and two reception admin staff now make D & D Mechanical and 4wd an efficient and reliable mechanical workshop.

Electronic scan equipment and computer based diagnostic tools are used for all current cars, 4WD, passenger autos, trucks and fleet vehicles, trailers and caravans, from service reset to diagnosis of check engine lights that periodically appear on the instrument cluster of your vehicle. D&D regularly update software and tooling enabling the best possible care and ensuring repairs are completed on time often saving the client money with "Accurate Fault Diagnostics" thus minimising downtime.
